Hotel Mirage - Florence

The mini fridge was super handy for drinks and snacks during our 5-night family stay. the AC was lacking, making it tough to sleep at times. 😅

Plenty of food at the breakfast, including coffee, tea and croissants. The staff were very very helpful and helped with a parking lot. Location right by the desert.

Really had good stay on a business trip. Spacious acceptable value hotel with a convenient and perfect location near to rail station, and the center of Florence. Lots of great food. Easy check in and efficient check out.

The lobby area features a grand piano, which provides a nice touch and a chance for some musical relaxation during downtime. Breakfast options could fill your stomach adequately, a bonus when you're gearing up for a day of adventures.

The rooms are in a state that feels outdated, with furniture showing signs of rot and a general musty odor throughout. Many bathrooms have unwelcoming plumbing issues, and the air conditioning struggles to keep up, leaving guests in discomfort when the temperatures rise. Corridors bear the scars of years without a refresh, marked by water damage and poor lighting. If you're looking for on-site dining or a drink, you might be in for disappointment-the bar at reception has irregular hours and is often closed. The lack of dining options nearby adds to the challenge when you're hungry.

Impeccably clean and perfect place with very helpful staff. The guest room with the double bed as well as the bathroom. Quiet atmosphere, elegant restaurant for dinner.

Wi-Fi connection was slow.

as we were travelling by car, good and safe parking place was important for us. hotel has very good parking facilities. hotel parking lot is safe and separated from the street by a barrier. hotel is only a few kilometres away from the motorway. for car travellers it is therefore highly recommended and a good alternative to the city centre. tickets for the bus can be bought at the reception. bus stop is only about 100 meters away. basically the hotel is a bit old, clean. clean, price-performance ratio is good. in the surroundings of the hotel there are very good restaurants! friendly staff at the reception. conclusion: a good alternative for car drivers.

The hotel is getting a bit old and no longer a 4-star hotel, which it certainly was when it was founded. It is about 30 minutes by bus and tram from the center. The carpet in our room bothered me. This should be renewed. The toilet seat was a bit shaky. You should also know that the hotel is served by large coaches that come in the afternoon and leave the next morning.

Recommended for families with children

We had a decent sized room with comfy beds, perfect after a long day. The staff were really kind, helped us with local tours despite our broken English.

It wasn't exactly cheap but overall a fair price for what we got.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. The restaurant staff and food were fantastic.Our room was clean and adequate in size. The air conditioning in the unit was adequate but not great. Recommend they look into upgrading their system. Easy access to the tram which takes you to the center of Firenze. I would highly recommend this facility.

We explored the Uffizi Gallery and had fun at the Ponte Vecchio. The staff were nice and really helpful. The area is also perfect for walking to all the attractions, and the breakfast had a decent selection. Definitely check it out if you're visiting!

One issue we faced was that the air conditioning was turned off . It was warm outside, and we ended up having to open the windows, which let in mosquitoes at night. It was tough to sleep sometimes.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and informative. The Breakfast was good and had a good selection to choose from. My friend and I had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was really tasty. The hotel was a little bit out of the way but was very easy to get to by public transit.
